Best Buy’s Turnaround

Best Buy had found itself, unwittingly, transitioned from retailer to a ‘showroom’ for Amazon. Buyers were walking into a brick-and-mortar Best Buy locations to browse, touch, demo, and explore the inventory only to leave empty handed. Later purchasing their goods at a lower price from Amazon. But there was one thing Best Buy had that Amazon didn’t. The Blue Shirts. So we decided to make them into everyday heroes. And what better way to do that? Super Bowl XLVII with Amy Poehler playing the part of a flirtatious customer peppering a sales associate with questions.
